Summary- Hannah Swensen owns a small bakery but she can’t help getting swept up in local mysteries. When Norman, her casual boyfriend, buys a house for renovation, Hannah thinks her biggest concern will be what that means for their future. Instead, they find the body of the previous owner in the basement and Hannah just can’t help taking it upon herself to find the killer.
Overall, a nice cozy mystery. I liked Hannah though her obsession with weight loss was a bit annoying in this book. Similarly, she is part of a love triangle with two guys and one she is super attracted to but he he a bit of a jerk at times and the other is a really sweet guy but she treats him more like a buddy.
I liked the mystery. There were lots of clues and I had a pretty good idea early on who the killer was but I definitely was happy with the ending and thought it was very appropriate.
Also, I really loved the secondary characters, especially Hannah’s sisters and Norman.
