Book Review:Murder on Lexington Avenue

Summary: A wealthy man is murdered and Frank is sent to investigate because the murdered man has a deaf son and it is well known that Frank also has a deaf child.Naturally, Frank needs Sarah’s help since he can’t get into the same wealthy circles that Sarah travels in.

My rating: 4/5

The mystery part of this book was really good. I didn’t know who the killer was until the very ends. It made sense and wasn’t a complete surprise but I didn’t put many of the puzzle pieces together until they were explained.

I love this series though I am starting to get impatient with Frank and Sarah. I would like to see their relationship move forward a bit faster. I have read other reviews saying the same thing for earlier books but up until I read this one I didn’t really start to get irritated by the slow pace of their blooming love.

The other issue I had with this book was that Frank having a deaf son and not being able to sign is really annoying. His mom interprets for him and I get that he is busy but I would really like to see Frank learn to sign properly.

This book is great for anyone who enjoys mysteries but you should start at book one. Very hard to jump in mid series.
